The opening is bright yet chaotic — sparkling bergamot and ambrette blend with French clary sage and far too much black pepper, a cheeky nod to the madness ahead. In the heart, things get curiouser: creamy orris and carrot heart stir into warm English tea, while soft white roses (yes, painted red) bloom unexpectedly on the table.
The drydown is where it all comes together — warm Indian sandalwood, Italian broom absolute, and a dreamy steamed milk accord (fleur de lait) wrap the composition in comforting strangeness. It’s dessert and dialogue. It’s garden and confusion. It’s Lost Alice.
